If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. Fire resistance classified according to DIN EN 13501-2 is just as important as the smooth clearance of the closing areas in the event of a fire.

StrainBox XS

Produktbeschreibung

Die StrainBox XS ermöglicht den ADR-konformen Transport sowie die sichere Lagerung kritischer und defekter Lithium-Ionen-Batterien. Die kompakte Bauweise wurde speziell für Batterien kleiner Energiespeicher entwickelt, wie sie beispielsweise in E-Bikes, Elektrowerkzeugen oder mobilen Geräten eingesetzt werden.

Die Konstruktion ist auf Havarien von Lithium-Ionen-Batterien ausgelegt und kontrolliert die bei einem möglichen Thermal-Runaway entstehenden thermischen und mechanischen Belastungen. Das integrierte Thermomanagement begrenzt die Wärmeübertragung nach außen und verhindert eine kritische Erwärmung der Außenflächen.

Ein integriertes Gasleit- und Filtersystem reduziert die Freisetzung toxischer Reaktionsgase und hält Partikel sowie feste Reaktionsprodukte innerhalb der Verpackung zurück. Die druckstabile Konstruktion verhindert das Austreten von Flammen, Funken, Flüssigkeiten und Feststoffen.

Zum Schutz von Personen und Sachgütern verfügt die StrainBox XS über bewährte Sicherheitsmerkmale der Stöbich Brandschutz GmbH, darunter das integrierte Gasleit- und Filtersystem, eine mechanisch robuste Bauweise sowie das integrierte Thermomanagement.
