      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

Vorsitzender des SPD Bezirks Braunschweig bei STÖBICH

Vor einiger Zeit hat uns Dr. Thorsten Kornblum, Vorsitzender des SPD-Bezirks Braunschweig, am zentralen STÖBICH Standort Goslar besucht. Er zeigte sich beeindruckt von unserer Brandschutz-Vielfalt.

Mit über 40-jähriger Branchenexpertise und ganzheitlichen Brandschutzlösungen ist STÖBICH überregional bekannt. Wie spielen die verschiedenen Brandschutzsysteme zusammen und wie fühlt sich ein Feuerschutzvorhang an? Dr. Thorsten Kornblum wollte es genau wissen und stattete dem Weltmarktführer zusammen mit anderen Gästen aus dem SPD-Bezirk Braunschweig und dem Niedersächsischen Landtag einen Besuch ab.
Nach der offiziellen Begrüßung durch Dirk-Olaf Petersen, Geschäftsführer der STÖBICH Holding, erfolgte eine kurze Unternehmenspräsentation im Showroom. Dabei bekamen die Besucherinnen und Besucher einen Einblick ist das Repertoire der STÖBICH Gruppe, die ihren Fokus auf vorbeugenden baulichen sowie technischen Brandschutz und Batteriesicherheitssysteme legt. Mit faszinierenden Exponaten wie der simulierten Ausschleusung einer kritisch defekten LI-Batterie auf intralogistischen Transportwegen demonstrierten die Experten eindrucksvoll, wie vollautomatisierter Brandschutz funktionieren kann.
Danach erwartete das interessierte Publikum ein weiteres Highlight: die Live-Brandvorführung auf dem Außengelände. „Wow, diese Hitze hält das aus?“ staunte Kornblum beim Berühren des innovativen wärmedämmenden Gewebes, hinter dem knapp 800 Grad Celsius heiße Flammen loderten. Beim anschließenden Produktionsrundgang ging der SPD-Bezirksvorsitzende noch einmal auf „Tuchfühlung“ mit den dünnen Hightech-Textilien, aus dem die Rauch- und Feuerschutzvorhänge gefertigt werden. Insgesamt haben alle Beteiligten den Ausflug in die STÖBICH Brandschutzwelt sichtlich genossen und konnten interessante Eindrücke gewinnen.
