  Various production and logistics processes call for the most diverse types of conveyor systems. If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. Fire resistance classified according to DIN EN 13501-2 is just as important as the smooth clearance of the closing areas in the event of a fire.

  A smoke apron is a part of a smoke control system which also includes other components such as natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-2) and mechanical smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-3). Smoke aprons restrict the movement of combustion gases within a building in case of fire.

Rückblick auf die EIPOS-Sachverständigentage Brandschutz 2025

Die 26. EIPOS Sachverständigentage Brandschutz standen ganz im Zeichen von Innovation, Nachhaltigkeit und Praxisnähe. Über 1.000 Fachleute trafen sich am 17. und 18. November 2025 auf dem Dresdener Messegelände – darunter auch die Brandschutzexperten von STÖBICH.

EIPOS Sachverständigentage Brandschutz 2025: Die etablierte Fachtagung ist eines der wichtigsten Branchentreffen für Brandschutz-Fachplaner und Sachverständige, Mitarbeitende aus Baugenehmigungsbehörden und der Industrie.

Der Fokus lag in diesem Jahr auf nachhaltigem Brandschutz: Holzbau und nachwachsende Dämmstoffe können durch geeignete Bekleidungen und neue Löschmethoden sicher eingesetzt werden. Erste Forschung zu Lehmbaustoffen zeigt Potenzial, jedoch besteht Normungsbedarf. Beim Umgang mit Bestandsgebäuden wurden sorgfältige Dokumentation und risikoorientierte Anpassungen betont. Internationale Impulse setzte die Totalrevision der Schweizer Vorschriften mit klarer Risikoorientierung. Insgesamt zeigte die Veranstaltung den Wandel hin zu mehr Nachhaltigkeit, Innovation und interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit.

Innovativ wurde es auch bei STÖBICH: An unserem dreidimensionalen Messestand haben wir vorbeugenden baulichen Brandschutz textiler Bauweise gezeigt und die interessierten BesucherInnen zu unseren vielfältigen Lösungen beraten.
