  Various production and logistics processes call for the most diverse types of conveyor systems. If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. Fire resistance classified according to DIN EN 13501-2 is just as important as the smooth clearance of the closing areas in the event of a fire.

  A smoke apron is a part of a smoke control system which also includes other components such as natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-2) and mechanical smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-3). Smoke aprons restrict the movement of combustion gases within a building in case of fire.

STÖBICH Austria auf der 20. FSE Brandschutz-Fachtagung

Auch diesmal war STÖBICH Austria als Fachaussteller bei der 20. FSE Brandschutz-Fachtagung in der Fachhochschule St. Pölten vertreten.

Am 27. und 28. August 2025 fand in der österreichischen FH St. Pölten zum 20. Mal die FSE Brandschutz-Fachtagung statt. Laut Veranstalter besuchten ca. 480 Tagungsteilnehmer (Behörden, Feuerwehren, Versicherungen, Ingenieurbüros, Sachverständige, Architekten und Industrie) die Jubiläumsfachtagung.

Unsere Kollegen von STÖBICH Austria haben dort die STÖBICH ➥ Brandschutzsysteme vorgestellt. An beiden Tagen durften sie viele interessante Gespräche führen, sowohl am Messestand als auch auf dem gesamten Veranstaltungsgelände. Von dem Explosionsschutzseminar und den Live-Brandversuchen waren sie ebenso fasziniert wie die Tagungsteilnehmenden.

Künftig findet die FSE Fachtagung alternierend mit den Linzer Brandschutz- und Gebäudesicherheitstagen vom IBS/BVS alle 2 Jahre statt. Die nächsten Linzer Brandschutz- und Gebäudesicherheitstage sind am 25. und 26. Februar 2026 in der voestalpine Stahlwelt in Linz – die Vorfreude ist jetzt schon groß.
