  Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

  Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

Girls’ und Boys’ Day 2022

Der bundesweite Aktionstag zur klischeefreien Berufsorientierung für Jungen und Mädchen fand am 28. April 2022 statt. Auch bei STÖBICH konnten interessierte Kids reinschnuppern und die verschiedenen Ausbildungsberufe im vorbeugenden Brandschutz kennenlernen.

10 Schülerinnen und Schüler aus der 5.–8. Klasse schauten am vergangenen Donnerstag in der Ausbildungswerkstatt am zentralen STÖBICH Standort Goslar vorbei. Nach der offiziellen Begrüßung durch den Ausbilder ging es in einem Rundgang durch das Brandschutz-Unternehmen. Mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung der STÖBICH Azubis durften sich die Kinder dann an verschiedenen Stationen ausprobieren: Sie haben Werkstücke an der Körnerplatte markiert, an der Lötstation gearbeitet, einen Fangarm-Roboter zusammengebaut und eine Relaisschaltung aufgebaut. Krönender Abschluss des Tages war das gemeinsame Mittagessen und der anschließende Brandversuch auf dem Außengelände. Die teilnehmenden Mädchen und Jungen waren begeistert, und auch die Azubis hatten ihren Spaß.

Bei STÖBICH werden weltweit Individual- sowie Serienlösungen entwickelt, gefertigt und installiert. Insgesamt wird in vier verschiedenen Berufen ausgebildet:

- Konstruktionsmechaniker (m/w/d)
- Mechatroniker (m/w/d)
