      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

Fazit zur FeuerTrutz 2021

Die Begeisterung glüht auch nach drei Wochen noch nach. Es war aber auch ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl, nach so langer Zeit endlich mal wieder persönlich auf der FeuerTrutz in Nürnberg ausstellen zu dürfen und mit anderen Brandschutzfachleuten in Kontakt zu treten.

Über 3.500 Branchenkenner vor Ort, 1.200 digitale User, 900 Kongressteilnehmende, 180 Aussteller – und STÖBICH mittendrin. Bislang haben wir keine FeuerTrutz verpasst, und zum 10. Messejubiläum waren wir auch wieder mit Feuereifer dabei. Auf unserem Gemeinschaftsstand der STÖBICH Brandschutz, STÖBICH Active Safety, Protec-24 facility service und Protronic Innovative Steuerungselektronik konnten wir die BesucherInnen für ganzheitliche Brandschutzlösungen begeistern und gute alte Bekannte wiedertreffen.
Eines der Messe-Highlights war sicherlich unser Live-Brandversuch auf der Aktionsfläche ERLEBNIS Brandschutz im Außenbereich. Am mobilen Container konnten sich Interessierte selbst von den wärmedämmenden Eigenschaften unseres Feuerschutzvorhangs Fibershield®-I überzeugen – vorbeugender baulicher Brandschutz zum Anfassen! Inspiriert haben uns auch die innovativen Marktneuheiten aus aller Welt und spannende Vorträge zu unterschiedlichsten Zukunftsthemen.

„Nach mehr als anderthalb Jahren war es uns eine Freude, unser Portfolio endlich mal wieder live auf der FeuerTrutz zu präsentieren und mit der Brandschutz-Community ins Gespräch zu kommen“, resümiert Dominik Rudolf von STÖBICH Brandschutz. Diese Euphorie sei auf allen Gängen zu spüren gewesen, die Stimmung war großartig, und das Hygienekonzept habe für zusätzliche Sicherheit gesorgt. Für den Bereichsleiter für flexible Systeme in der D-A-CH-Region ist es „Ehrensache, dass wir auch beim nächsten Mal wieder am Start sind.“ Und das dauert gar nicht mehr so lange: Die nächste FeuerTrutz findet bereits im Sommer statt, am 29. und 30. Juni 2022. Gleich im Kalender vermerken – wir sehen uns!
