      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

They are safety-relevant, because without their function or in the event of a malfunction, the entire investment of a fire protection partition would be useless. Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

Ausbildungsstart 2024

Das Ausbildungsjahr 2024 fing bei STÖBICH wie immer mit einem Kennenlerntag inklusive der traditionellen Firmenrallye durch die Firmenzentrale in Goslar an. Zum 1. August haben hier acht junge Menschen ihre Ausbildung begonnen: drei Industriekaufleute, zwei Technische Produktdesigner, ein Konstruktionsmechaniker, ein Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration und ein Industrieelektriker (m/w/d). Zeitgleich hat am Standort Bopfingen eine angehende Kauffrau für Büromanagement ihre Ausbildung gestartet (s. kleines Bild).
Unser Goslarer Nachwuchs, zu dem sich auch drei Jahrespraktikanten gesellen, durfte erst einmal ganz in Ruhe bei uns ankommen. Nach der Begrüßung durch die Ausbildercrew und Geschäftsführung gab es viel Informatives zum Unternehmen und zur Ausbildung, bevor es in den praktischen Teil ging: Auf ihrer Erkundungstour durch die verschiedenen Fachbereiche haben die jungen Frauen und Männer die vielfältigen Tätigkeiten im Brandschutzunternehmen und natürlich ihre neuen Kolleginnen und Kollegen kennengelernt. Das Ausbilderteam und auch die Paten stehen allen Auszubildenden mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und freuen sich mit der gesamten STÖBICH Mannschaft über die Verstärkung.
Am zentralen STÖBICH Standort Goslar bilden wir derzeit in sieben Ausbildungsberufen aus: Mechatroniker, Konstruktionsmechaniker, Technische Produktdesigner, Industrieelektriker Fachrichtung Betriebstechnik, Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration, Maschinen- und Anlagenführer und Industriekaufleute (m/w/d).
