The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

Innovative early fire detection with the Fire Multi Detector

When there's a fire, every second counts. With the Fire Multi Detector, a fire is recognized (detected) as soon as it starts and reliably reported.

The earlier a fire is detected, the more efficiently it can be fought. With the help of optical sensors, the ➥ Fire Multi Detector detects a fire at an early stage. The detector is a smoke, flame and heat detector in one, reacts as standard when at least two fire parameters occur and can also be configured individually according to customer requirements.
The Fire Multi Detector works in almost any environment. The messages are evaluated by a dedicated control unit and signaled on site using warning devices. In addition, the messages can also be forwarded via a call, email and app alert. The system can be easily integrated into existing fire alarm systems and extinguishing systems.

Application areas
The Fire Multi Detector can be used indoors and outdoors. As an all-rounder, it is valued wherever a fast response time is particularly important in the event of a fire or when a fire has already started, e.g. in the manufacturing industry, in power generation as well as in recycling yards, bus depots, e-charging stations and much more.
