      Brandschermen

      Brandschermen dienen in geval van brand voor de afsluiting van wand- of plafondopeningen. Hun constructieve opbouw (afrol- of vouwtechniek) en het gebruik van diverse weefsels maken een breed scala van toepassingen alsook verschillende beveiligingsdoelen of classificaties en tijdklassen mogelijk. Behuizing en geleiderails van de flexibel toepasbare systemen passen vrijwel onzichtbaar in het bouwwerk en bieden veel vrijheid op het gebied van ontwerp bij de veeleisende architectuur van openruimteconcepten.

      Transportband afsluitingen

      Voor veelzijdige productie- en logistiekprocessen zijn de meest uiteenlopende soorten transporinstallaties nodig. Wanneer deze transportbanen door brandvertragende of brandwerende wanden of plafonds leiden, moeten de hiervoor noodzakelijke openingen van brandafsluitingen worden voorzien, om een uitbreiding van het vuur via de transporttechniek of het transportgoed te voorkomen. In geval van brand moeten brandwerende transportbandafsluitingen deze openingen onmiddellijk en automatisch afsluiten. Daarbij is een brandwerendheid die is geclassificeerd volgens DIN EN 13501-2 net zo belangrijk, als het snelle vrijgeven van de afsluitgebieden bij de activering.

      Een rookscherm is een deel van een installatie voor het vrijhouden van rook, waartoe ook andere onderdelen zoals natuurlijke rook- en warmteafvoerapparatuur (EN 12101-2) en machinale rook- en warmteafvoerapparatuur (EN 12101-3) behoren. Rookschermen beperken daarbij de beweging van verbrandingsgassen binnen een bouwwerk in geval van een brand.

      Dé oplossing voor problemen met brandwerende kleppen voor ruimteluchttechnische installaties in transportprocessen. Stöbich biedt brandbeveiliging voor pneumatische transportleidingen, waarbij de afsluitende elementen niet met de stroomsnelheid in aanraking komen. Zo wordt beschadiging of vervuiling van de afsluitende elementen door ruw transportmateriaal vermeden.

Zij zijn belangrijk voor de veiligheid, want zonder hun functie of bij storingen zou de totale investering van een brandbeveiligingsafsluiting waardeloos zijn. Bedieningen coördineren zowel branddetectie alsook het samenspel met andere bedieningen, zoals gebouwbeheertechniek op een hoger niveau of het activeren van het afsluitgebied bij transportbandafsluitingen.
