      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

They are safety-relevant, because without their function or in the event of a malfunction, the entire investment of a fire protection partition would be useless. Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

The information center with space for education, culture and encounters was opened in 2011 and designed by the renowned French architecture firm Marc Barani. The building combines modern aesthetics with the traditional architecture of Provence, creating a harmonious link between old and new, for example by combining modern materials such as glass and steel with local natural stone. The generous window fronts create an atmosphere flooded with light. Ecological sustainability is achieved through natural ventilation and the resulting reduction in energy consumption; green spaces are also integrated on various levels. Terugblik FeuerTrutz 2025: STÖBICH maakt indruk met innovatie en relevantie op het gebied van bouwkundige brandbeveiliging

Met 266 exposanten, 6.600 vakbezoekers en meer dan 7.300 vierkante meter tentoonstellingsruimte heeft de 15e FeuerTrutz een sterk signaal afgegeven: brandbeveiliging is relevanter dan ooit. Ook STÖBICH liet met innovatieve oplossingen zien hoe we samen de toekomst veilig kunnen stellen en scoorde daarbij vooral op het gebied van textiele systemen.

Voor ons was de FeuerTrutz van dit jaar een groot succes en een duidelijk signaal dat onze thema's de tijdgeest raken. De stand van STÖBICH kon vooral op de eerste dag op veel belangstelling rekenen. Naast talrijke bestaande klanten vonden ook veel nieuwe geïnteresseerden de weg naar ons.

In totaal hebben we een groot aantal nieuwe contacten gelegd, wat het toenemende belang van textiele en bouwkundige brandbeveiliging onderstreept. Het beursbezoekerspubliek was open, geïnteresseerd en goed geïnformeerd.

Naast de rookgang was er ook bijzondere belangstelling voor batterijveiligheid – een onderwerp dat bij steeds meer ontwerpers en vakmensen op de agenda staat. Maar ook onze beproefde ➥ brandwerende gordijnen in isolerende of sectionele uitvoering konden op veel belangstelling rekenen.

Op onze gezamenlijke stand waren naast ons ook onze partners van ➥ PROTEC-24 en ➥ Protronic aanwezig met service en onderhoud en besturingstechniek voor onze systemen – volledige competentie uit één hand.

Een echt hoogtepunt waren de live demonstraties op de brandcontainer op het open terrein voor de beurshallen, die voor grote drukte zorgden. De hoge isolerende werking van onze meerlaagse weefsels zorgde voor zichtbare verbazing: tijdens de demonstraties was het mogelijk om het weefsel aan te raken ondanks de enorme temperatuur van wel 800 graden Celsius in de brandcontainer, omdat de materiaallagen de warmtestraling effectief afschermden. Een aha-moment voor veel bezoekers.

Met veel nieuwe impulsen, positieve reacties en een versterkt teamgevoel kijken we terug op een succesvolle FeuerTrutz 2025 – en kijken we uit naar de komende evenementen.
