  Various production and logistics processes call for the most diverse types of conveyor systems. If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. Fire resistance classified according to DIN EN 13501-2 is just as important as the smooth clearance of the closing areas in the event of a fire.

  A smoke apron is a part of a smoke control system which also includes other components such as natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-2) and mechanical smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-3). Smoke aprons restrict the movement of combustion gases within a building in case of fire.

Goede stemming op Swissbau 2024

Half januari was de multi-industriële vakbeurs in Basel opnieuw een populaire ontmoetingsplaats voor de Zwitserse bouw- en vastgoedsector. Bezoekers- en exposantenaantallen bevestigen de hoge frequentie.

52.486 bezoekers kwamen van 16 tot 19 januari 2024 naar de hallen van Messe Basel om zich te informeren over innovaties en trendonderwerpen in de bouw. De bonte mix van kennisoverdracht, discussies en het uitproberen van oplossingen werd zeer goed ontvangen door het publiek.
Op een totaal van 85.000 vierkante meter presenteerden 615 exposanten hun nieuwste producten en technologieën. Onze Zwitserse partner ➥ JOMOS was ook aanwezig met zijn brandbeveiligingsportfolio en meldde een positieve respons. De focus lag op het thermisch isolerende ➥Fibershield®-I brandwerend gordijn van STÖBICH, dat veel geïnteresseerde blikken trok. Het JOMOS-team beantwoordde vragen en gaf gedetailleerde inzichten in de vele mogelijke toepassingen van het textiele brandwerende gordijn.

De volgende Swissbau vindt plaats van 20 tot 23 januari 2026 in Basel.
