  Various production and logistics processes call for the most diverse types of conveyor systems. If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. Fire resistance classified according to DIN EN 13501-2 is just as important as the smooth clearance of the closing areas in the event of a fire.

  A smoke apron is a part of a smoke control system which also includes other components such as natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-2) and mechanical smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-3). Smoke aprons restrict the movement of combustion gases within a building in case of fire.

Bonne ambiance à la Swissbau 2024

A la mi-janvier, le salon multisectoriel de Bâle est redevenu un lieu de rencontre très apprécié du secteur suisse de la construction et de l'immobilier. Le nombre de visiteurs et d'exposants témoigne de la forte fréquentation.

52 486 visiteurs se sont rendus dans les halles de Messe Basel du 16 au 19 janvier 2024 pour s'informer sur les innovations et les thèmes tendance dans le domaine de la construction. Le mélange coloré de transfert de connaissances, de discussions et d'expérimentation de solutions a été très bien accueilli par le public.
Sur une surface totale de 85.000 mètres carrés, 615 exposants ont présenté leurs derniers produits et technologies. Notre partenaire suisse ➥ JOMOS était également présent avec son portefeuille de produits de protection incendie et a fait état d'un écho positif. L'accent a été mis sur le ➥ rideau coupe-feu Fibershield®-I de STÖBICH, qui a attiré de nombreux regards intéressés. L'équipe JOMOS a répondu aux questions et a donné un aperçu détaillé des nombreuses possibilités d'utilisation de la fermeture coupe-feu textile.

Le prochain salon Swissbau aura lieu du 20 au 23 janvier 2026 à Bâle.
