      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

Eerste digitale toekomstdag bij STÖBICH

Voor de STÖBICH ondernemingsgroep was de Toekomstdag ("Girl's Day") een compleet succes - en voor de eerste keer digitaal.

De Dag van de Toekomst voor schoolmeisjes en schooljongens vond op 22 april 2021 voor het eerst in digitale vorm plaats. Een echte uitdaging voor ons, die we met de actieve steun van REWIMET e.V. zijn aangegaan. Om de hele diversiteit van STÖBICH aan de kinderen te presenteren, hebben we vier bedrijven van de groep (STÖBICH Brandschutz, STÖBICH Technology, STÖBICH Active Safety en Beeware) met verschillende thema's gepresenteerd:

- Bouwkundige en technische brandbeveiliging
- Batterij veiligheid
- Intelligent onderhoud en ondersteuning

 Een bijzonder hoogtepunt was het interview, waarbij de kinderen STÖBICH-trainers en -leerlingen naar hun ervaringen mochten vragen en zo boeiende inzichten kregen in de verschillende beroepen in het leerlingwezen.

Conclusie: Ook in digitaal opzicht was de Future Day voor alle betrokkenen een geslaagd evenement. De meisjes en jongens toonden grote belangstelling en waren positief onder de indruk. Een kind zou zich zelfs kunnen voorstellen om later brandweerman te worden of bij STÖBICH in de leer te gaan. Aan het eind kreeg iedereen een tentakel robot kit mee naar huis.

Outlook: De gecreëerde inhoud moet tegen volgend jaar zodanig worden voorbereid dat wij zowel een face-to-face programma in de opleidingsworkshop als een digitaal aanbod op toekomstige Girls' & Boys' Days kunnen aanbieden. Op die manier bereiken we ook kinderen en jongeren uit andere deelstaten - een echt voordeel voor iedereen!
