  Various production and logistics processes call for the most diverse types of conveyor systems. If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. Fire resistance classified according to DIN EN 13501-2 is just as important as the smooth clearance of the closing areas in the event of a fire.

  A smoke apron is a part of a smoke control system which also includes other components such as natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-2) and mechanical smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-3). Smoke aprons restrict the movement of combustion gases within a building in case of fire.

Vurig programma op de STÖBICH Brandweerdag

Op 06.06.2023 was het een warme dag op de centrale STÖBICH site in Goslar. Onze populaire brandweerdag werd zeer goed ontvangen door de ongeveer 40 geïnteresseerden in brandbeveiliging van bouwinspecties, brandbeveiligingsdiensten, algemene aannemers, exploitanten, enz.

Het was een vuurwerk van holistische brandbeveiligingsthema's, bestaande uit preventieve ➥ structurele brandbeveiliging met deskundige service, ➥ technische brandbeveiliging en ➥ brandbeveiliging voor energieopslag. Op de STÖBICH Fire Day gaven we alle bezoekers een exclusief inzicht in ons product- en dienstenportfolio. Onze deskundige sprekers brachten het publiek op de hoogte met boeiende presentaties. Tussendoor was er de mogelijkheid om het eigen netwerk uit te breiden en kennis te maken met brandprocessen in echte brandtesten. Hoe voelt het hitte-isolerende textiel van het Fibershield®-I brandgordijn aan als vlammen tot 1.000 graden Celsius erop slaan? In de brandtestcontainer konden de deelnemers het zelf uitproberen en met eigen ogen zien hoe het innovatieve brandbeveiligingssysteem werkt. Heet, live en in kleur was ook de batterijtest, waarbij een Li-ion batterij een gecontroleerd ongeluk kreeg.
