      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Team STÖBICH plant bomen in het Harzgebergte

Ons hoofdkantoor bevindt zich in Goslar in het Harzgebergte – het ligt dus voor de hand dat we ons inzetten voor de lokale natuur. Terwijl voor velen op vrijdag het weekend begon, trok een groep enthousiaste STÖBICH-medewerkers met handschoenen en spades het bos in.

Het doel was duidelijk: de Harz nieuwe bomen schenken om het bos te herbeplanten. Dat dit goede voornemen ook gepaard gaat met zwaar werk, weerhield de gemotiveerde STÖBICH-crew er niet van om mee te doen, integendeel: sommigen hadden hun partners en kinderen meegenomen, die ook ijverig hebben gegraven en geplant.

De actie met de vereniging “Wald für morgen” (Bos voor morgen) was van tevoren al door het bedrijf voorbereid: tijdens het zomerfeest van de STÖBICH-groep in Goslar hadden de medewerkers al beschermende hekken voor de jonge bomen gebouwd, die ze nu met eigen handen rond de nieuw geplante zaailingen plaatsten.

De geslaagde middag werd afgesloten met een gezamenlijke snack, waarbij de deelnemers de succesvolle dag konden evalueren en hun ervaringen konden uitwisselen. Een geslaagde actie!
