  Various production and logistics processes call for the most diverse types of conveyor systems. If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. Fire resistance classified according to DIN EN 13501-2 is just as important as the smooth clearance of the closing areas in the event of a fire.

Op de 3e dag van de MODEX-beurs zullen we in contact komen met nieuwe indrukken en productnieuws van het Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, VS. Van 28 t/m 31 maart komt hier alles wat status en reputatie heeft in de transport- en logistieke branche bij elkaar.

Als een van de meer dan 850 internationale exposanten, presenteert Stöbich Fire Protection voor het eerst zijn innovatieve brandbeveiligingsoplossingen op MODEX. Het Amerikaanse publiek op de STÖBICH-stand kan voor het eerst kennis maken met een model van de StrainBox XS. Het kan worden gebruikt om kritieke en defecte lithium-ionbatterijen veilig te vervoeren en op te slaan.

Een ander hoogtepunt is de sluiting van het RGT-transportsysteem. Bij brand sluit de schuifdeur automatisch, zowel verticaal als horizontaal, waardoor de brand zich niet kan verspreiden naar het gehele transportsysteem. Zo ziet innovatieve brandbeveiliging voor transportsystemen eruit!
