Otfried Preußler School | Bad Soden am Taunus, Germany

"Räuber Hotzenplotz" and "The Little Witch" made the namesake of this elementary school in the Taunus region world-famous. Otfried Preußler would certainly have been impressed by this modern educational facility. The large window fronts let in plenty of light and create a learning-friendly atmosphere. All classrooms for the total of 350 pupils are arranged around a square ring structure on the first floor. The rooms for afternoon supervision are located on the first floor.

The adjacent break hall is loud and cheerful. Nothing of the prescribed fire protection elements can be seen here - they are hidden inconspicuously in the suspended ceiling in STÖBICH style. The room-forming ➥ Fibershield®-S fire protection curtain lowers fully automatically in the event of a fire, creating the necessary partitioning to the corridors on three sides. As secure as a solid steel door, but more inconspicuous and therefore open for contemporary room concepts. Just like the robber Hotzenplotz: "Juchheisa, I'm invisible - that's wonderful for fire protection!"
