      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

Zemské sdružení hasičů ve STÖBICHU

Koncem října uspořádal Svaz hasičů Dolního Saska v prostorách sboru dobrovolných hasičů v Goslaru zasedání výboru na téma "Provoz, nebezpečí pro životní prostředí, prevence katastrof". Co může být přirozenějšího než získat podrobné informace od společnosti STÖBICH o bezpečnosti a požární ochraně při manipulaci s lithium-iontovými bateriemi?

Společnost STÖBICH a dobrovolný hasičský sbor Goslar již několik let sdílejí zájem o bezpečné skladování nebo přepravu kritických zařízení pro ukládání energie. V úzké spolupráci specialisté na požární ochranu vyvinuli chytrá řešení pro lithium-iontové baterie, z nichž se v případě nehody mohou uvolňovat nebezpečné plyny. Takové ➥ přepravní boxy StrainBox od společnosti STÖBICH byly předány hasičskému sboru Goslar a nedávno byly opět použity při ➥ požáru elektrického skútru v Dörnten.

Minulý pátek nás u příležitosti zasedání výboru EUK navštívili nejen velitel hasičů okresu Goslar a jeho zástupce, ale také další velitelé hasičů z různých dolnosaských okresů, zástupci dolnosaského ministerstva vnitra a prezident dolnosaského zemského hasičského svazu. Celkem se naší informační akce v showroomu STÖBICH zúčastnilo 13 osob. Jednalo se mimo jiné o li-ion bateriové systémy (LiBS) a jejich konstrukci, funkci a provedení a s tím spojené chování při požáru a potenciál nebezpečí. Po teoretické prezentaci bateriových bezpečnostních systémů StrainBox a StrainLock se účastníci mohli s výrobky seznámit během prohlídky. Závěrečnou tečkou byla prohlídka testovacího centra baterií v areálu společnosti STÖBICH.

Pro naše hosty to byla "velmi zajímavá akce se skvělými poznatky o nebezpečí lithium-iontových baterií a o tom, jak s nimi bezpečně zacházet pomocí vhodných výrobků". Marc Dinse ze společnosti STÖBICH na závěr dodal: "S hasičským sborem v Goslaru si úzce vyměňujeme názory a vždy rádi přijímáme žádosti o podobné akce. Můžeme tak významně přispět k bezpečnému zacházení s lithium-iontovými bateriemi. Akce opět ukázala, že i v hasičském sboru je třeba jednat, pokud jde o správné zacházení s lithium-iontovými bateriemi. To se týká jak operací, při nichž dochází k pálení baterií, tak i při manipulaci s vlastními zařízeními poháněnými bateriemi."
