      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

      Control systems are necessary for all automatic fire protection systems! They are safety-relevant, because without their function or in the event of a malfunction, the entire investment of a fire protection partition would be useless. Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

Voor ons is duurzaamheid meer dan alleen elektriciteit besparen door middel van LED-verlichting (dat hebben we), elektrische auto's en JobRad (waar we mee rijden) of productverpakkingen die voor 80% uit gerecycled materiaal bestaan (dat is ook al lang standaard voor ons).

Onze opvatting van duurzaamheid vindt plaats op uw locatie:

We bieden onze klanten al opties om het gebruik van massieve muren met brandbeveiliging van textiel te verminderen, om ruimtes open en transparant te ontwerpen en zo gebouwen flexibeler in gebruik te maken. We slaan nieuwe wegen in met slimme concepten en werken aan de ontwikkeling van klimaatvriendelijkere materialen voor toekomstig gebruik in onze producten.

We leven maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen

Als aanjager van innovatie en wereldmarktleider zijn we ons bewust van onze verantwoordelijkheid voor mens en milieu. Samen met andere wereldwijde spelers streven we de 17 Duurzame Ontwikkelingsdoelen van Agenda 2030 na, waar onze Gedragscode ook naar verwijst. Met betrekking tot onze bedrijfsverantwoordelijkheid hebben we ons vrijwillig gecommitteerd aan Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Ondernemen (MVO), dat drie verantwoordelijkheidsgebieden omvat:

Onze overtuiging

  • Duurzaamheid is stevig verankerd in onze bedrijfsprincipes, maakt deel uit van onze bedrijfsstrategie en wordt actief in praktijk gebracht door het management, de familie en het personeel van STÖBICH.
  • ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) en het bijbehorende duurzaamheidsmanagement zijn sinds 2023 ondergebracht in een nieuw opgerichte stafeenheid.
  • De eerste stappen van het ESG-actieplan zijn al geïmplementeerd, bijvoorbeeld het bepalen van de STÖBICH CO2 voetafdruk, die we geleidelijk zullen verminderen door middel van verschillende interne en externe maatregelen.

Onze bijdrage

  • We nemen onze verantwoordelijkheid serieus, zowel voor de maatschappij als voor onze werknemers. We maken werkprocessen en alles daaromheen stap voor stap duurzamer, bijvoorbeeld door onze brandbeveiligingssystemen van textiel te verpakken in kartonnen dozen van 80% gerecycled materiaal.
  • LED halverlichting, JobRad en de uitbreiding van een e-voertuigenpark geven onze medewerkers ook een signaal over de duurzame koers van onze bedrijfsstrategie. We voldoen aan de groeiende vraag naar batterijveiligheid met veiligheidsoplossingen voor lithium-ionbatterijen.
  • Verhoogde milieunormen voor duurzaam bouwen met brandbeveiligingssystemen van textiel en minder gebruik van vaste, emissie-intensieve bouwmaterialen, goedkeuringen en bewijzen van bruikbaarheid voor trends in de bouwtransitie en de geplande overschakeling op klimaatvriendelijke materialen zoals "groen staal" zijn maatregelen op ons2 reductiepad.

Onze maatschappelijke betrokkenheid

  • Wij zetten ons zowel regionaal als nationaal in om onderwijs, wetenschap, liefdadigheidsorganisaties en sociale projecten te versterken
  • Als sponsor van onderzoek en wetenschap reikt STÖBICH prijzen uit zoals de Stöbich Doctoraatsprijs voor Ondernemers en de Kaiser Friedrich Onderzoeksprijs.
  • Als sponsor promoten we regionale projecten, lokale helden en liefdadigheidsorganisaties, van sportclubs tot festivalorganisatoren. Goed doen, zowel op kleine als op grote schaal, is altijd belangrijk voor ons geweest.
