      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

They are safety-relevant, because without their function or in the event of a malfunction, the entire investment of a fire protection partition would be useless. Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

Salon des métiers et des études #TschüssSchule 2022

Mi-mai, nous avons participé avec environ 70 autres exposants au salon des métiers et des études #TschüssSchule dans la BBS Baßgeige à Goslar, afin d'enthousiasmer les élèves pour les possibilités de formation chez STÖBICH.

Avec un total de 500 visiteurs au salon, notre stand dans l'école professionnelle a été bien fréquenté. Nous y avons mené de nombreux entretiens informatifs avec les futurs diplômés et leurs proches. Avec succès : nous avons déjà accepté sur place les premières candidatures.

En même temps, il était possible de jeter un coup d'œil dans les coulisses de l'univers STÖBICH et de découvrir quelques systèmes de protection incendie dans notre showroom au siège central de l'entreprise, au coin de la rue. Nos apprentis et leurs formateurs ont répondu aux questions de toutes les personnes intéressées, les ont aidées à participer à des activités participatives et les ont informées sur les différents métiers de la formation (h/f).

Grâce à une construction en direct avec le programme Inventor, les jeunes ont pu se projeter dans le quotidien professionnel d'un concepteur technique de produits et participer à la construction à leur guise. L'assemblage d'un robot à tentacules et d'une lampe de poche était intéressant pour les futurs mécaniciens de construction ou mécatroniciens. Pour les futurs agents commerciaux de l'industrie, il y avait un petit quiz et des détails passionnants sur un éventuel séjour à l'étranger (qualification supplémentaire d'agent commercial européen). Une visite de différents services et de l'atelier de formation ainsi que l'essai d'incendie en direct ont complété la journée. "Les préparatifs ont valu la peine et nous nous réjouissons de mener d'autres actions", a déclaré Timon Mitzscherlich (designer de produits techniques, 2e année).
