  Various production and logistics processes call for the most diverse types of conveyor systems. If these conveyor lines pass through fire-retardant or fire-resistant walls or ceilings, the openings required for this purpose must be provided with fire protection closures to prevent the spread of fire through the conveyor system or the goods conveyed. In the event of fire, conveyor system closures (CSC for short) must close these openings immediately and automatically. BR 20 - Control system for conveyor system closures

Product description

The hold-open system is suitable for rendering the function of locking devices on fire protection closures in the course of track-bound conveyor systems, in each case as single-leaf swing doors, rolling and lifting doors as well as sliding doors and gates in interior walls, ineffective in a controlled manner and for carrying out the control processes required in the event of fire and malfunction as well as manual release when closing.

Type	"BR20 - FA" for fire protection closures in the course of railway-bound conveyor systems
Proof	Approval notice no. Z-6.500-2601 from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt), Berlin.

The "BR20" as a triggering device with power supply (device combination) consists of:
- Power supply in accordance with general building inspectorate approval no. Z-6.510-2602 with a second power supply (batteries)
- Release device for controlling the hold-open device (in accordance with section 2.4 of the aBG)

For the installation of a hold-open system "BR20 - FA", the release device with power supply (device combination) "BR20" must be equipped with:
- Fire detector (in accordance with DIN EN 54 and section 2.3 of the aBG)
- Hold-open devices (in accordance with section 2.4 of the aBG)
- If necessary, protective devices for closing area monitoring on the closures (in accordance with section 2.5 of the aBG)
