Goslar, October 2020 - The founder of the innovation leader in structural fire protection, Dr Jochen Stöbich, will now retire from active business at the age of 77. The family's interests will continue to be represented by the three daughters as shareholders.

For 40 years, the STÖBICH brand has stood for reliable and innovative fire protection. Always driven by courage and enthusiasm for technology, under the leadership of Dr.-Ing. Jochen Stöbich, the start-up company founded in Goslar in 1980 has grown into a group of companies with over 1,000 employees. The group of companies, which now operates worldwide, has grown continuously since 1980 with a steadily increasing number of employees, locations and business areas. For the future, the company has set itself the goal of continuing on this successful course.

At the age of 77, Dr.-Ing. Stöbich will now retire from active business. The company founder has therefore handed over operational responsibility for the Stöbich Group and resigned from the management of the various companies. The interests of the family will continue to be represented by the three daughters, Ms Kerim Stöbich-Schaller, Ms Janine Stöbich-Uffel and Ms Liesa Stöbich, as shareholders.
Dr.-Ing. Stöbich hands over the management of the holding company to three managing directors who have succeeded him in the various areas and enjoy the trust of the Stöbich family.

Jörg Schiebel is Chairman of the Board of Management and responsible for Development, Sales, Processing, Service and Business Development. Peter Stahl takes over the departments of Finance and Administration. Wolfgang van Pels takes over the management of the production of the core business as well as the producing participations.
The new management will continue the successful path of digitalisation and digital transformation as well as the development of adequate business models in order to remain a market leader in the development, sales, installation and service of future-oriented structural fire protection products.
