  Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

  Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

  A smoke curtain is part of unit keeping areas free from smoke and may include building parts like natural smoke and heat venting systems and automatic smoke and heat venting systems. Smoke curtains restrict the movement of fire gases inside a building in case of fire.

Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

The information center with space for education, culture and encounters was opened in 2011 and designed by the renowned French architecture firm Marc Barani. The building combines modern aesthetics with the traditional architecture of Provence, creating a harmonious link between old and new, for example by combining modern materials such as glass and steel with local natural stone. LogiMAT 2024 s'est très bien passé - pour nous aussi

"Le salon LogiMAT de Stuttgart s'est forgé une réputation internationale de plate-forme de présentation et de salon de travail la plus importante du secteur de l'intralogistique et est considéré comme le premier salon intralogistique au monde", résume le directeur du salon Michael Ruchty.

Au total, 67.420 visiteurs professionnels (+ 8,1 %) se sont rendus au parc des expositions de Stuttgart, dont plus de la moitié en provenance d'Asie, d'Afrique et d'Amérique. 1.610 exposants (+ 6 %) ont présenté leurs dernières solutions et développements de produits, notamment plus de 120 premières de produits innovants. Il était donc logique d'augmenter la surface d'exposition nette de 2.000 mètres carrés supplémentaires pour atteindre 67.000 mètres carrés. Le profil des exposants était lui aussi international, avec des fabricants de produits, des concepteurs de systèmes, des intégrateurs et des prestataires de services de 40 pays, tous leaders mondiaux. Avec un taux de 35 pour cent, un exposant sur trois venait cette année de l'étranger - dont 86 d'outre-mer, de Chine, d'Amérique du Nord et d'Australie.
Il y avait également beaucoup de monde au ➥ STÖBICH stand 7D49 dans le hall 7, et nous avons eu de nombreux entretiens fructueux et emporté des inspirations.
Nous nous réjouissons d'autant plus de la prochaine édition de LogiMAT à Stuttgart, du 11 au 13 mars 2025 !
