      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

      Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

Controllers coordinate both fire detection and the interaction with other controls, like superordinate building control or the retraction of the closing area at conveyor closing area.

De la Harz sans forêt ? Pas avec nous !

En collaboration avec l'association « Wald für morgen » (Une forêt pour demain), nous organisons le 10 octobre une campagne interne de plantation d'arbres afin de contribuer au reboisement du Harz.

Là où autrefois de denses forêts d'épicéas dominaient le paysage, ce sont aujourd'hui des surfaces dénudées qui s'étendent à perte de vue. Des millions d'arbres morts, des infestations de parasites, la sécheresse et les changements climatiques font disparaître la forêt à un rythme dramatique.

Le reboisement est une mesure décisive pour promouvoir le développement durable. Nous souhaitons y contribuer.

Le 10 octobre 2025, nous nous réunirons donc avec des collègues engagés et des membres de leur famille pour une action collective de plantation d'arbres afin de protéger le Harz et sa nature unique et de lui redonner tout son éclat en tant que zone forestière vivante.

Lors de la fête d'été du groupe STÖBICH, nous avons déjà cloué des clôtures de protection pour les jeunes arbres afin de les protéger contre les dégâts causés par le gibier et d'autres menaces et de favoriser leur croissance.

Nous nous réjouissons maintenant de la participation active à la plantation collective d'arbres et vous tiendrons informés du déroulement de l'opération.
