      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

Braunschweig Fire Protection Days in a new ‘old’ location

The Braunschweig Fire Protection Days will take place on 30 September and 1 October 2025 in the main lecture hall of the Technical University of Braunschweig. This traditional event was held there until the early 2000s.

‘Back to the roots’: Under this motto, the Braunschweig Fire Protection Days are returning to the newly renovated Audimax of the TU Braunschweig this year. For a comfortable journey, the registration confirmation can be used as a ticket for Braunschweig buses and trams. As always, the 39th BBT symposium covers the entire spectrum of preventive fire protection. In addition to sessions on innovations and new developments in the field of regulations and fire protection certification, the Dietmar Hosser Fire Protection Young Talent Award will be presented.

The symposium will once again be complemented by an accompanying trade exhibition featuring renowned companies in the field of fire protection.
