Successful ArchitekTOUR Congress 2021

Successful ArchitekTOUR Congress 2021

630 participants, 52 lectures and 47 exhibitors: The Heinze ArchitekTOUR Congress on November 25 in Duisburg was a complete success despite difficult conditions. Not least thanks to our spectacular fire test on the outdoor area.

Under strict hygiene regulations, numerous interested parties met at the Heinze ArchitekTOUR Congress 2021: 250 came in person, 380 participated in the event online. STÖBICH Brandschutz provided information about its innovative fire protection systems of textile construction at the booth and in the impulse lecture. Outside, however, an extra hot highlight was waiting for the audience:
For the first time, we showed our mobile fire container in action at this event. Here, visitors were able to see first-hand the heat-insulating properties of the Fibershield®-I fire curtain. The fact that such a thin fabric can withstand flames of up to 1,100 °C was an experience that literally burned itself in for many. Although the heat is clearly felt through the high-tech textile, it offers no comparison with the heat of the container wall. This means that the innovative fire protection curtain not only easily rivals conventional fire doors and gates: Fibershield®-I does not require any compensatory measures such as sprinklers or fire load-free zones and can be integrated almost invisibly into the architecture thanks to the intelligent winding kinematics and the discreet housing. A strong fabric that makes (architects') dreams come true!
