  Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

  Manifold production - and logisitc processes require different construction types of conveying systems. If the haulage drifts are passing through fire-retarding resp. fire-resisting walls or ceilings, the necessary openings must be provided with fire protection closures to avoid the expansion of the fire by conveyor technique or by conveyed material. In case of fire the conveyor system closures have to seal those openings immediately and automatically. Thereby a classified fire resistance as well as the smoothly clearing of the closing area must be respected in case of release.

  A smoke curtain is part of unit keeping areas free from smoke and may include building parts like natural smoke and heat venting systems and automatic smoke and heat venting systems. Smoke curtains restrict the movement of fire gases inside a building in case of fire.

STÖBICH sponsors Bopfingen youth fire department

As a fire protection company, we work closely with the fire departments and have a heart for their promotion of young talent. That's why STÖBICH was immediately on fire when they were looking for sponsors for the benefit concert for the Bopfingen youth fire department.

Over 70 children and young people are active in the Bopfingen youth fire department. Here they are introduced from 8 years playfully to the training in firefighting technology, fire and disaster control. These are the best prerequisites for a later position in the volunteer fire department, which is recruiting new members everywhere. We at STÖBICH would like to support the important extracurricular youth education of the fire department, and with our location in Bopfingen we are also rooted a bit ourselves at the Ipf. Therefore, we make all the more spirited our contribution to the

Benefit concert for the youth fire department Bopfingen

Who: Big Band of the German Armed Forces and Heinz Rudolf Kunze

Instead of playing ordinary marching music, the entertainment orchestra strikes modern notes and offers the audience a varied stage show with rich sound and special effects. The well-known singer-songwriter Heinz Rudolf Kunze ("Dein ist mein ganzes Herz") will also be performing. The benefit concert is free of charge for the visitors and is financed exclusively by donations and by sponsors such as STÖBICH. All proceeds collected will benefit the Bopfingen Youth Fire Department. We are proud supporters of this great project and look forward to a cozy concert evening!
