Between medieval splendour and modern protection: the Château de Vincennes rises with its 50-metre-high residential tower (donjon) above the surrounding landscape on the eastern edge of Paris. The mighty outer wall, a ring more than a kilometer long with towers and drawbridges, was once built to ward off attackers. Throughout the centuries, the Château de Vincennes has been a hunting lodge and retreat, but also a state prison and porcelain factory. Today, the château houses various departments of the Ministry of Defense (military archives and military history research) and the Ministry of Culture and Communication (center for national monuments).
We installed our Premium fire protection curtain Fibershield®-P in this stately setting: Just as the Donjon once offered protection against siege, our textile fire protection system protects against fire and smoke - discreetly integrated into the royal architecture.
