Europe’s largest digital art museum is being built on a 6,500 m² site in Hamburg’s HafenCity. At Amerigo-Vespucci-Platz, visitors will be able to admire multidimensional works of art and enjoy multisensory experiences – experiencing art with all their senses. Under the motto ‘Touch. Be touched.’, visitors can interact with the immersive works. With ceilings up to 12 metres high, there is plenty of space for light and colour. The space itself becomes a canvas, and there are no limits to the art.
However, potential fires must be effectively contained within so-called fire compartments, sealed off by structural fire protection systems. At the UBS Digital Art Museum, our Fiberseal smoke protection curtain establishes these vital boundaries. The advantage is that it can seal off even large areas, yet only becomes visible in the event of a fire and otherwise remains virtually invisible, concealed within a narrow ceiling housing. That’s an art in itself!
