      Fire protection curtains

      Fire protection curtains are seal openings in walls and ceilings in case of fire. The constructional set-up (rolling- or folding technology) and the use of different fabrics offer a wide application spectrum as well as different protection targets or classifications and time classes. Casings and side guides of those flexible applicable systems are integrated almost invisibly in the building and provide much scope for design of sophisticated architecture for opened designs.

La nueva pista de aterrizaje, con una longitud de 2800 metros, discurre paralela a las pistas de despegue y aterrizaje existentes. La distancia entre ejes a la pista Norte es de aproximadamente 1400 m, lo que permite aproximaciones paralelas independientes en la nueva pista Noroeste y en la antigua pista Sur (a diferencia del sistema existente de pistas paralelas, con distancias más estrechas). A una distancia de 200 metros de la nueva pista de aterrizaje discurre una pista de rodadura paralela. La pista de aterrizaje y la pista de rodadura paralela se conectan entre sí a través de seis calles de rodadura rápida y una calle de rodadura en los extremos oriental y occidental de la pista de aterrizaje. Dos calles de rodadura conectan las áreas de operaciones del aeropuerto por encima de las vías del ferrocarril ICE, la autopista A3 y la circunvalación del aeropuerto. Estas dos calles de rodadura constan de cinco puentes individuales: los puentes Este 1 y Oeste 1 son los más grandes y complejos. Permiten a los aviones cruzar la autopista A3 y las vías del ICE. Hay tres puentes más: Oeste 2, Este 2 y Este 3. Los puentes Oeste 2 y Este 2 pasan sobre la circunvalación del aeropuerto, mientras que el Este 3 se encuentra en el propio recinto del aeropuerto. La calle Okrifteler pasa por debajo de la pista de aterrizaje Noroeste y conecta los municipios de Walldorf y Kelsterbach. El túnel tiene casi 577 metros de largo y 18 metros de ancho. Se han reconstruido unos 1,6 kilómetros de la calle Okrifteler, incluidos carril bici y acera peatonal. En la nueva pista de aterrizaje, así como en las pistas existentes, es posible realizar «operaciones todo tiempo», de modo que se puedan realizar aproximaciones según la categoría ILS IIIb.
